Artist's Comments
This project followed our Tectonic Case Study project that I posted earlier. We were supposed to transform our tectonic system for a different Program, that of a Natatorium. This is an eye-level shot from the eastern elevation.
Made of chipboard, foamcore, balsa wood and colored paper, more to hide the foamcore edges than to depict the site. I just happened to have leftover green and blue paper to use. This is a model of the primary and secondary systems (The frames and the joists), NOT a complete building, so there are no walls, windows, etc. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
